Rural Roads in Northern Essex
This picture is taken near the Prince of Wales pub in Broxted, a rambling sort of village made up of a number of smaller settlements. The area lies within the proposed land take for the expansion of Stansted Airport and, as you might expect, there is a lively campaign against the new runways. This sign is advertising a Ramble around the area in September 2004, in support of the campaign.
